2) Gender.
3) Age.


1) Genetic build up-
Genetics build up play a very important role in development and also in improving prognosis of any disease. Same applies to heart diseases. If you have got any genetic cause, defect, malfunctioned or mutant genes which are responsible for causing congenital heart diseases, then chances of prognosis are bad as there are no treatment available which can modify genes, genetic build up of human body.

2) Gender-
Men are affected more by heart diseases than women as women got their female hormone estrogen; which raise good HDL cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol level LDL to great extent and give women a protective shield again heart disease. Men does not got this hormone. Women are protected from heart diseases due to their female hormone estrogen content until their menopause starts. But, as menopause starts, this hormone secretion vanishes and so does its protective shield.

3) Age-
Age also plays a very vital role in development of heart diseases. With old age, your blood arteries become more hard and stiff and they loses their elasticity which increase your blood pressure and result in chronic hypertension. This old age is the factor you cannot change as their is no treatment yet available which can reverse anatomic changes of arteries and heart muscles; which has occurred in arteries and cardiac muscles due to old age.
