  • Children below 10 years.

1) Eat fruits rich in vitamin C-

Vitamin C strength your immune system. It supplies nourishment that help in formation of white blood cells. White blood cells are part of immune system. They protect us from infectious diseases. They do it by expelling harmful substances out of body.
  • They do it by forming protective shield around each cell. This shield does not let harmful micro-organisms like bacteria or virus enter inside body. If any how, they enter, then white blood cells have capacity to kill/eliminate harmful micro-organisms.

  • Vitamin c is found in- lemon, orange, mosambi. They are richest source of vitamin C. Mosambi is also known with name of sweet lemon or citrus limetta.


2) Turmeric-

It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Because of that it also has wound healing properties. You can consume it in many ways.

  • You can consume it, by mixing it in warm milk. But, remember do not mix it, during milk warming process. Mix it after you have, thoroughly warmed your milk. 
  • You can also consume turmeric, by using it as spice in your food. 


3) Indian Gooseberry (amla)-

It is also vitamin C rich, just like vitamin C rich sources, mentioned in point 1. Consume 1 Indian gooseberry daily, to boost your immunity.

4) Black grapes-

They are also good source of vitamin C. Vitamin C, as you know strengthen immune system, by contributing in formation of white blood cells.
  • Black grapes also supplies good amount of anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants have cancer preventing properties. They do it, by flushing toxic free radicals. 
  • Toxic free radicals accumulate in body, for many years in body, give birth to cancer or tumour formation in body. Therefore, their timely flushing from body, is very necessary to prevent cancer.


5) Green apple-

Green apple is also richest source of vitamin C. This vitamin as said above, strengthen your immune system. Not only that, green apple also helps, in preventing diabetes. It contains less of sugar as compared to red apple.
