Top Deficiency Diseases which Occur in Women



Deficiency diseases occurring out of lack of nutritive elements occur in every human being of any age and gender. If a human being does not take nutritive elements through diet, then what human being is sure to suffer from is deficiency diseases, then whatever the age or whatever gender of that human being is.
           
         
No doubt, deficiency diseases affect every human being of any age or gender, if they do not take nutritive elements adequately through diet. But, there are certain deficiency diseases which affect human being of particular gender more than other. No doubt, it affects both genders male and females, if both of them does not take adequate nutritive elements through diet. But, there are certain deficiency diseases which occur in women gender worse than other gender men due to their different hormonal physiological build up.

The top main deficiency diseases which affect women more are-

1. Deficiency diseases resulting out of calcium deficiency-
These deficiency diseases which occur out of deficiency of calcium in women more are osteoporosis, osteopenia, and bone loss earlier than men. But, why these calcium deficiency diseases occur more in women than men and in age much earlier than men's age of having deficiency diseases? This occurs because of two reasons, first is, physiological calcium loss every month in menstrual cycle and second reason is due to hormonal calcium loss, that is, calcium loss occurring due to stoppage of hormones controlling calcium loss and absorption cycle in menopause.

2. Iron deficiency disease- 
Iron deficiency disease occur in women more than in men and earlier in women than men because of her physiological menstrual cycle, which is very responsible for most of iron loss in each and every menstrual cycle. In men this menstrual cycle does not occur.

3. Vitamin folic acid loss- 
Also occur more in women than in men, the reason for it is also same as it is for iron deficiency in women, that is monthly menstrual cycle.
