Panic Disorders



Panic disorders are type of anxiety disorders in which there occurs recurrent attacks of severe anxiety which are sudden and unpredictable.



Symptoms-

Symptoms of panic disorder or disease are as follow-


1.      Recurrent or repeated attacks of severe anxiety which are of sudden onset.

2.      During panic attacks, there occur palpitations, chest pain and breathlessness or dyspnoea along with anxiety.

3.      Sweating is there along with anxiety attacks.

4.      Chills, nausea, trembling hands along with fear or anxiety.

5.      Duration of anxiety attack is approximately ten to fifteen minutes.

6.      There may be fear of public places or fear of being alone.

7.      In between attacks patient is free of anxiety or any fear.

8.      Patient avoids situations where he may feel trapped and feels unable to escape.
