languages, promoted world over through different promotion options like news
channels, newspaper, news spread by various health journals, health organizations,
''Saturated fats envious to human body health." Yes, saturated fats harm
human body. Yes, it is true that saturated fat harms human body. So, today we
will discuss, "What harms saturated fats do to human body?" But,
before discussing harms which saturated fats do to human body, I ask you a
question. Question is, do you know what
saturated fats are? Which fat type is called saturated fat?
Saturated fats are one of the types of fat. They are solid
in nature and get liquefied on heating and turns semi-solid in moderately warm
environment. Chemically, structural organization wise, saturated fats consists
of triglycerides made of only saturated fatty acids. Now, what are these
saturated fatty acids? Saturated fatty acids are those fatty acids which have
no double bonds between individual carbon atoms of their fatty acid chain;
due to which saturated fatty acids chain is strong enough and does not get
broken easily. This is reason why saturated fats are solid in nature.
Now, coming back to topic, "What harms saturated fats do to human body?" The harms which saturated fats do to human body are as follow-
1. Saturated fats are found in butter, ghee, coconut
oil, cream, mozzarella cheese, meat, yellow part of egg, if consumed in excess
for lot of years can cause insulin resistance and also increases your blood
cholesterol level above normal.
2. Saturated fat consumption for lot of years in
excess quantity can cause diabetes by causing insulin resistance. Diabetes is
not only precursor to coronary artery disease, ischaemic heart disease,
but can also cause these disease, if not controlled at right time.
3. Saturated fat consumption in excess above normal limit by human for lot of years can cause platelet aggregation and clot formation in arteries which result in arteriosclerosis of arteries which increases your chances of suffering from various thrombotic diseases.
4. Consuming saturated fat in excess in your diet can
do grievous damage to your heart health and causes fatty liver diseases and pancreas damage. It increases your chances of suffering
from various vascular diseases, especially thrombotic artery
diseases. Chances of having stroke become huge, if any of your heart artery vessel get
blocked by thrombotic clot due to too much fat accumulated inside' due to consuming saturated fats in excess for lot of years.
5. Consuming in excess saturated fats through consumption of saturated fats rich food, beverages for lot of years causes blood pressure bounce and causes chronic hypertension along with causing hyperlipidemia and make your body obese and lipoma in fatty body parts.
