Warning Signs of Heart Attack



Heart attack is a very deadly disease and should be diagnosed at right time, as early as possible. Early recognition of any disease helps in timely treatment of disease. Same is the case with heart attack. That is, as soon as it is diagnosed, confirmed that patient is having heart attack; its early treatment helps in prevention of heart attack and patient can be saved and restored to health.


Now, question is, "How can one identify heart attack occurring to a patient?" There are some marked warnings given by human body in form of various signs and symptoms which helps in early recognition of heart attack occurring to a patient. Various warning signs and symptoms of heart attack shown by, manifested by human body are-

                                                        

1. First, and one of the major and important and marked symptom shown by human body, manifested by human body or you can say complained by or felt by heart attack patient is acute chest discomfort. Patient complaints of acute chest pain in center of chest. He says that he is feeling acute discomfort in center of chest. Feels some squeezing pressure or squeezing sensation or heavy weight lying over heart region.

2. And very important point, this chest discomfort lasts more than a few minutes or sometimes go away and come back again; which feels as squeezing or fullness sensation in chest.

3. Difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath is complained by patients mostly. Patient feels acute shortness of breath, sometimes with chest pain and sometimes without chest pain.

4. Upper body ailments- upper body ailments are another sad story from which heart patients suffer. And these complaints are-
  • Patient says that he is feeling some acute pain or discomfort or heaviness in sometimes in one arm and sometimes in both arms.
  • Back pain, neck pain or jaw pain is very common aliments of heart attack patients during heart attack. Any of these above three symptoms can be very commonly complained by heart attack patient during heart attack.
  • Stomach discomfort or pain is also experienced during attack.

5. Perspiration get increased- There is acute outburst of increased perspiration. The patient gets drenched with increased perspiration of cold sweat.

6. Nausea, vomiting along with vertigo is another part of bad story of attack of some heart attack patients. But this malady is found more among women than in men. Patient feels numbness in head, feel will have vomit any moment and sometime it do come.

7. Last important thing to be noted some heart attack are sudden and intense, which are easy to recognize due to their sharp intense symptoms. But some heart attacks are slow, they start slowly with mild pain or discomfort. And it is main problem which is with the 2nd type of heart attacks is that due to its slowness of progress and mildness of symptoms, there occurs problem in their recognition. Patients are not sure about them and usually recognition of these types of attacks is often missed.
