What are Fad Diets?



Fad diets are those diets which are very used these days among obesity suffering people. Aim behind such fad diet usage is fast weight loss within short period. So, no doubt, these fad diets are widely effective in giving fast results, but how long their result last?


That is, how much effective they are? And, what actually fad diet is? Yes, what is fad diet? What kind of diet is called fad diet? Does this fad diet is of just one type or it has more than one type?

Fad diet is that diet which is low on nutrition, it includes low calorie food, covering just one or two component of nutritive elements and that too in very deficient amount to give fast weight loss results. But, in doing that, it missed out main nutritive elements, that is, includes few one and that too in deficient amount. This is, why its results are short term because they make obese person so much weak that they are not able to continue it further. And, reason for obese person becoming weak after usage of these diets is its lack of all the nutrients in right amount. In fact, they lack most of the essential elements.

But, being fast rate of its work done, in giving fast results of weight loss, they are very much popular, although actually they are health crashers.
